The catalog service is a small Go program, yet its image weighs 1.1 GB: the whole Go toolchain ships to production. Bring the image under 100 MB with a multi-stage build.
The test builds catalog/ as catalog:ci, runs it on port 8080 and checks /health for half an hour, then measures the size of the image that runs.
