Resource limits
Every afternoon the shop slows to a crawl: the thumbnail worker leaks memory, the server starts swapping and the API's latency explodes. The leak can't be fixed today. Make sure it hurts only the worker.
The server has 4 GB of RAM and 2 GB of swap. The worker grows by about 300 MB per hour. The test runs docker compose up -d --build and calls the API for 24 hours.
What your server must hold
- Latency p99 < 200 ms
- No unexpected restart
- Availability ≥ 99.9 %
